Display resolution

Display resolution - Each display screen has its own parameters which govern the display. Basic is the resolution and diagonal. In the case of resolution as the value given matrix dimensions in pixels, and as to the number of pixels per inch that we shall call this the density matrix. Thus, for example, the screen resolution: 1920x1080px a diagonal to 23 ". With these two parameters, we can calculate the density.

Eg. A monitor screen has a width of approximately 50.9 x 28,6cm. The long side contains 1920 pixels, and a brief 1080. So 50,9cm = 1920px. Let's calculate how many pixels per linear centimeter falls matrix: 1920 / 50.9 = 37.7. And because 1 inch is 2.54 cm to 37.7 x 2.54 = 95.8. Thus, the monitor has a density of approximately 96ppi.
